Design/Drafter - Configuration Engineering
Primary Objective of Position:
Works with Application Engineering and Customers to effectively perform the design modeling and drafting of custom electro-mechanical actuators according to customer specifications.
Major Areas of Accountability:
1) Perform computer aided design drafting of the company's engineering and production drawings.
2) Design parts and assemblies on a timely basis as needed to fulfill customer orders.
3) Develop detailed part drawings including all necessary information regarding materials, processes, dimensions and tolerances.
4) Manage design documentation required for custom and special products; coordinate efforts with design engineering.
5) Construct product assembly drawings from piece-part drawings complete with bill of materials where appropriate.
6) Stay technically current on drafting hardware, software, techniques and standards.
7) Assure that engineering and production drawings are completed in accordance with the engineering documentation system.
8) Provide technical documentation for operating manuals, user manuals and other engineering or production literature as required.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have completed a 2-Year Drafting Program or have an Associate Design Degree including coursework in SolidWorks and have 2+ years of work experience in a mechanical CAD design/drafting position utilizing SolidWorks.
Regional Sales Manager - Central Region
Primary Objective of Position:
Generate new orders for the Company's products and services to meet the region's (North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana) booking and shipment goals. Lead the sales effort of Independent Representatives, Distributors and Resellers in the Region. Identify and establish volume OEM customers to increase sales volume of the company's products.
Major Areas of Accountability:
1. Develop a regional sales plan that meets or exceeds the region's sales objectives.
2. Ensure that all representatives and distributors prepare annual sales plans, including forecasts by key and major customer within assigned territory and strategies to achieve sales growth in each account. Perform quarterly progress reviews.
3. Make regularly scheduled joint sales calls with representatives and distributors to assess performance and provide guidance to respective sales personnel.
4. Develop and maintain his/her own account base. Acquire information, required to prepare sales proposals and present them to customers.
5. Train Representatives and Distributors as needed to assure that sales channels are competent selling and applying Exlar products.
6. Keep current on all Exlar products from a technical, application, pricing and selling benefits standpoint.
7. Develop knowledge of competitive products and strategy for competing. Keep Marketing and Management abreast of all competitive activity and market development in the region. Provide input on competitive products and strategies.
8. Recommend changes and improvements in business and commercial policies.
9. Identify and coordinate all activity associated regional trade shows and ensure follow-up on all leads for the region.
Qualifications:
This position requires a four year technical engineering degree (BSEE or BSME) and a minimum of five years of selling and applying industrial automation products or drives. At least three years of management experience is preferred.
Area Sales Manager Philadelphia Based
Primary Objective of Position:
Generate new orders for the company’s products and services to meet area (Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland) booking and shipment goals.
Major Areas of Accountability:
1. Keep current on all Exlar products from a technical, application, pricing and selling benefits standpoint. Generate and present to customers written quotations for Exlar products, systems and services using current pricing and sales policies.
2. Develop and maintain a sales plan for the area that meets or exceeds his/her shipment objective and grows market share within the assigned territory.
3. Manage and develop the distributor network within assigned territory, including evaluation of new distributor candidates, annual plan generation and quarterly plan reviews, organization of sales / application / product training activities in the area.
4. Prepare annual sales forecast by customer and distributor within assigned territory.
5. Coordinate with other Exlar personnel in managing national account strategies, presentations, and negotiations.
6. Follow up on all leads for area.
7. Assist with Exlar sponsored area trade shows.
8. Support distributors with mutual sales calls and training.
9. Keep marketing and management abreast of all competitive activity and market development in district.
10. Learn to demonstrate Exlar equipment and train customers in applications, features and benefits of products and how they compare to competitive products.
11. Develop knowledge of competitive products and strategy for competing.
Qualifications:
