- High speed trim fence. Exlar's GSM actuators are used to provide rapid and accurate 'cut to length' of lumber.
- DLI/Canter/Gang - Exlar's actuators are used in the application to convert round logs to square lumber.
- Veneer lathe - Exlar's FT60 drives the blade of a veneer lathe rapidly converting a log to sheets of veneer
